Travel & Accommodations
Carnegie Mellon is located approximately five miles east of downtown Pittsburgh in a section of the city called Oakland. We are accessible by ground, rail or air transportation (Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, Greyhound and Amtrak). Hotel Accommodations
An opportunity to spend the night is only available on Sunday evening for prospective students participating in the program. If your parents plan to stay overnight in Pittsburgh or if you arrive early, we recommend the hotels below. Be sure to ask for Carnegie Mellon's special rates. Most of these hotels provide complimentary shuttle service to and from campus.
