Dates, Deadlines & Fees

The cost of the weekend is $50 per student and you must pay online with Visa or Mastercard. The fee covers the cost of on-campus meals and a Carnegie Mellon t-shirt. Fee waivers are available on a limited basis. If you believe you qualify, please contact our office and ask to speak with the Sleeping Bag Weekend Coordinator.

If you wish to register as a day visitor, the fee is $15. This fee includes a t-shirt and lunch on Sunday.

Note: To receive a cancellation refund you must notify the Sleeping Bag Weekend Coordinator by the Monday before your visit. Refunds can be given up to 60 days from the original registration date. There will be no refunds if you cancel after that date.

Portfolio reviews and auditions are available for fine arts students, as long as reservations have been secured on the College Of Fine Arts Admission Procedure website.

This weekend is open to students who have applied for admission to Carnegie Mellon.
