Installing Maple

Follow the instructions for your operating system.

For Windows

1. To install Maple, you must have administrator access to the computer.
2. Download the application file. 
   
3. Right-click on the zipped file and select Extract All.
4. Locate and double-click \windows\Disk1\InstData\VM\Maple12WindowsInstaller.exe 
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
6. When prompted, select "single-user profile".
7. When prompted, enter the purchase code and fill in the required information to complete activation.
   Note: Read the essential installation information contained in the Maple12_install_info doc. This file also contains the registration code you will need to activate the software.

For MacOS 10.4.4 or Higher (Intel Platform Macs)

1. To install Maple, you must have administrator access to the computer.
   
2. Download the Maple12.dmg file.
3. Double-click on Maple12MacInstaller file to open it (located in the Mac OS X folder).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Click the lock icon and enter the administrative password for your computer. 
6. When prompted, select "single-user profile".
7. The first time you start the program, you will be asked to enter a purchase code and required information to complete the activation. The purchase code is included in the files that you downloaded; file name is maple12_install_info.  
   
8. If you activated successfully, you are ready to use Maple 12.

For MacOS 10.3.9 or Higher (non-Intel Platform Macs)

1. Download the Maple11PPCMacInstaller.zip file.
2. Double-click on the downloaded file to open it.
3. Double-click the Maple11PPCMacInstaller.mpkg file.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the "Easy Install" panel.
5. On the "Easy Install" panel, click "Customize".
6. When prompted, select "single-user profile".
7. The first time you start the program, you will be asked to enter a purchase code. Enter the purchase code that was displayed when you downloaded the installer.
