Scale Models of Villas and Houses Built by First-Year Students from the Carnegie Mellon University, School of Architecture

Open House: Hunt Library (4th Floor, Fine and Rare Book Room)

Exhibit Locations: School of Architecture (stairwell at CFA 201) and Hunt Library (4th Floor, Fine and Rare Book Room)

An exhibition of books and documents representing the life and work of Le Corbusier and seven other architects.  Light refreshments will be served.

This exhibition consists of a series of student constructed spatial models that look through scalar comparison of the seminal residential works of Le Corbusier (Charles-Edouard Jeanneret) and Pierre Jeanneret, Cesare Cattaneo, and Giuseppe Terragni and their influences on local residences by Peter Berndston, John Pekrun, John Knox Shear, Richard Meier and Tasso Katselas.

Friends, students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the School of Architecture are encouraged to visit both locations.
