Carnegie Mellon University

Welcome to our website!

Research in our group is in the process systems engineering area.  We bring together
modeling, analysis and optimization to design clean and sustainable processes. In particular, we have
experience in processes for the conversion of biomass into fuels and chemicals, energy storage of
renewable non-programmable sources in batteries and chemicals (green hydrogen), carbon capture and circular economy (plastics and minerals from electronic waste).

You can learn about Research Areas, find our Publications and meet the Members of the Group. Also, explore some group pictures and videos.
