Leonhard Awodey

BS 2023 Social and Political History, Environmental and Sustainability Studies Additional Major

Leo Awodey is an alum of Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Social and Political History and an additional major in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Like many CMU students, Leo had both good times and bad: times of struggle and depression, and times of great excitement and joy. It helped him realize that that is what life is, a little bit of everything. He says the greatest way this course of study has influenced him, though, has been to recognize that he wants more out of life than just happiness. He wants to make a positive social and environmental impact with the things he does. That is a realization that has given him direction. His plan for after graduation is to continue living life to the fullest, while pursuing his vision of making the world a better place, in whatever form that may take!
