About

Peter Tschofen’s PhD work focuses on the estimation of monetary damages from air pollution in the United States. The work funded by the Steinbrenner Institute led to a publication in PNAS in 2019 and laid the groundwork for subsequent analyses focusing on damages in the agriculture sector as well as a study expanding economy-wide damage estimates by including climate damages and air pollution from wildfires which is under review at the moment.

Currently, Peter resides in South Korea where he is finishing his PhD while his one-year old son keeps him busy.
