Travel Information

Pittsburgh International Airport (PGH)

The airport is located 22 miles away from the CMU campus. The travel times vary depending on traffic and mode of transportation. By car/taxi, you can expect approximately 45 minutes between the airport and CMU campus. By public transit (28X Airport Flyer), you can expect the trip to be approximately one hour. 

Pittsburgh Union Station

This Amtrak train station is located in the Pittsburgh downtown area and is 3.8 miles away from the CMU campus. It is a 14 minutes car ride in either direction depending on traffic. A number of public transit options are also available to ride to and from the station. 

The Oaklander Hotel

The hotel is located .5 miles away from the workshop venue. It is a 12 minutes walk between the two buildings. A number of public transit options (61A/ 61B/ 61C/ 61D) are also available.
