SPARCS Tips

The following are this week's tips on using SPARCS - 

• HISTORY TAB - The History tab is a great resource to find information about your proposals such as:
  • When the funding proposal was created
  • When the budget was created
  • When the funding proposal has changed state (submitted for review, approved, returned for changes, awarded, etc.)
  • If changes were requested (by the department and/or OSP)
  • Additional Comments were added
  • If a follow-on submission was created (Revision, Revised Budget, etc.)
  • And much, much more!

Reminder:

• PI ASSURANCE STATEMENT - Proposals are still being sent back for the PI Assurance Statement not being attached or being attached and not signed. Please remember to have the PIs sign these documents and upload them either the Print PI Assurance Statement activity or you can attach them when you Submit for Department Review.

Recent improvements to SPARCS:

• NOTIFICATIONS: Prolonged Final SPO Review state - These notifications will now be sent beginning 5 days after the due date of the proposal instead of the date the proposal was created.
