Faculty Seminar

The goal of the seminar is to advance the Global Humanities and AI Initiative, including, but not limited to, interdisciplinary scholarly collaborations, grant applications, conferences, publications and creative endeavors.

The Spring 2024 seminar was attended by about 15 Dietrich College and CMU Library faculty members and included three elements: a weekly reading group, two hands-on workshops in The Kenner Room and talks by invited scholars.

The Seminar for AY 24-25, open to faculty, postdocs and Ph.D. students, bagin on October 2 and meets every Wednesday, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in Hunt Library, room 308. We will continue the weekly reading/discussion meetings and are in the process of planning other events, such as talks by invited CMU colleagues from other disciplines.
