Playtest Night

NOTE: this event is back Fall 2022!

Every Tuesday, designers in the Pittsburgh community bring their current projects to Hunt Library for playtesting. Come play games and indulge on snacks at a casual playtesting night that will be happening every week during the fall and spring semesters.

At Playtest Night, you'll get the chance to be one of the first playtesters for new games or even bring your own game you've been meaning to test. Playtesting is very common for video games but can also be applied to other kinds of experiences like location-based entertainment or interactive mobile applications. This event is for Designers, Playtesters, or Both!

Show up anytime between 6-8pm on Tuesdays, find some open table space and set up your project, and/or just walk around and start playing! All types of projects are welcome! Bring your video games, card games, sports, VR games, alt controller games, or just your ideas!

If you are NOT a CMU Student and would like to attend Playtest Night, contact the playtest coordinator at etc-playtest-coordinator@andrew.cmu.edu.
