On May 23, the Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation at Carnegie Mellon University convened energy innovation experts and leaders from across the tri-state techbelt region to develop a plan to create a strategic roadmap for an energy innovation ecosystem. The workshop was hosted in partnership with the Case Western Reserve University Great Lakes Energy Institute, the University of Pittsburgh Center for Energy and the West Virginia University Energy Institute, and was sponsored by the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator.

Attendees and speakers were experts in various fields of energy and came from organizations like the National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development, Fourth Economy and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator

Look out for the resulting summary, which will be posted on our website this summer.
