Through campus tours, information sessions, special events, and the university's Tartan Ambassador program, she works to create meaningful experiences that reflect CMU's distinctive strengths and foster a sense of connection and belonging among future students.

With over two decades of experience in strategic communications, marketing, journalism, public relations and higher education, Becky has built a career focused on creating compelling, audience-centered communications that drive engagement and informed decision-making. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership, strategic vision, and ability to align marketing and communications initiatives with institutional goals to achieve measurable enrollment outcomes.

Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon as an Assistant Director in 2006, Becky managed communications initiatives and served as assistant editor for publications at the Allegheny County Bar Association. Earlier in her career, she worked as a reporter, writer, and copy editor for several regional news and media outlets, where she developed a lifelong passion for storytelling and audience engagement.
