Interim Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admission | Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Innovation and Student Experience

Bio

In addition to serving as the Interim Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admission (effective March 7, 2025), Keith Gehres serves as Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Innovation and Student Experience, joining the team in November 2023. In this role, Keith oversees the work of the Office of Undergraduate Admission, the University Registrar's Office and The HUB while also working closely with the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and EM leadership team in helping define the visionary direction of systems and process innovation and the student experience as it relates to the work of Enrollment Management. 

Before joining CMU, Keith served as Assistant Vice Provost and University Registrar at Purdue University for five years. In this role, he led a large team overseeing student records, registration and graduation, academic and classroom scheduling, academic services, academic operational support, and transfer credit evaluation. He also worked at Ohio State University for 15 years in Undergraduate Admissions focusing on outreach and recruitment for all undergraduate students.

A two-time graduate of Ohio State University (BA Integrated Social Studies and MPA Public Administration), Keith lives in West Lafayette, Indiana, with his wife Ericka and daughter Addison.
