TIME SENSITIVE: Additional AHN Vaccine Opportunity for CMU Community Members

Dear Members of the Carnegie Mellon University Community:

Our partners at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) are offering 950 dedicated appointments to Carnegie Mellon students, faculty, staff and vendors for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, April 20 at their Pittsburgh Mills clinic, located at 590 Pittsburgh Mills Blvd, Tarentum, PA 15084.

The Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine, available for ages 16 and above, requires two doses. Second dose appointments will be scheduled on May 11 at the same venue. If you are interested in this opportunity, please ensure you will be available to receive your second dose.

This is a first-come, first-served opportunity, so please register your interest as soon as possible. Vaccine appointments that can be accommodated will be confirmed via an email from CMU on Friday, April 16.

Register Your Interest in this Opportunity

As an added convenience, the university is providing shuttles between campus and Pittsburgh Mills for those who do not have access to transportation.

Additionally, we are asking our community to voluntarily respond to the survey to help guide our ongoing vaccination planning efforts. If you already filled out a previous survey with your vaccination status, you do not need to do so again.

Survey: Have you already received a COVID-19 Vaccine?

As always, we encourage you to utilize this tool provided by the Commonwealth to seek a vaccine appointment if the CMU-specific opportunities we have offered do not work for your schedule. We will continue to provide updates should additional vaccine opportunities become available through our partners.

Sincerely,

Gina Casalegno
Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
