COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Available

Dear Carnegie Mellon University Community Members:

We are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Allegheny Health Network (AHN) for distribution of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. Carnegie Mellon community members will have access to appointments later this month at one of AHN’s vaccination clinics. We are finalizing details for this opportunity and will send an update with scheduling instructions as soon as they are confirmed.

The Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine requires only one dose. We are optimistic that the convenience of needing only one appointment will be particularly helpful for those students who will be leaving the Pittsburgh region at the end of this semester.

In addition to this forthcoming opportunity, AHN has availability for Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccination appointments this Friday and Saturday (April 9th and 10th) at the Monroeville Northern Pike clinic. Currently, by Pennsylvania mandate, these appointments can only be utilized by those eligible under Phases 1A and 1B. These phases include faculty, staff, students and vendors who provide instructional, health-related, or other services on behalf of the university, as well as those who qualify for phase 1A as defined by the Commonwealth. If you or others you know are eligible, please click here to schedule your appointment at the Monroeville Next Tier Connect clinic.

We are grateful to offer these latest vaccination opportunities to our community. We encourage you to learn more about the vaccines and the important role they will play in supporting the health and well-being of our community.

Sincerely,
