Step 4: Publish a Collection

The Administer this collection link is your access to publishing, link checking, permissions, logs, reports, and other advanced server options.

Once you are satisfied with your collection on the staging server, you may proceed to publish it to the production server. Follow these steps to publish:

  1. In the AWPS interface, click on the Administer this collection link. A screen similar to the following appears; it includes a Publishing section.

Depending on the level of access you have to a collection, different publishing options are displayed:

When AutoPublish is on, your files are automatically published to the production server after they are transferred via SFTP. By default, this option is turned off to encourage you to first view your collection on the staging server.

    Publish Now

    Publish Later
