Digital Accessibility Policy Approved
We are pleased to announce the publication of the Carnegie Mellon University Digital Accessibility Policy, reinforcing the university’s commitment to ensuring that electronic and information technology (EIT) is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
The policy establishes standards for the accessibility of EIT used in academic, research, and business activities, aligning with legal requirements and best practices for digital inclusion.
In support of this policy, the Digital Accessibility Office (DAO) has published additional guidance on its website to help faculty and staff implement accessibility best practices in their digital content, tools, and
platforms.
