Mike Barnes
Associate Vice President of Product Security, Mavenir
Bio
Mike serves as Associate Vice President of Product Security at Mavenir. In this role, Mike oversees Mavenir’s strategy to ensure security and quality in Mavenir products and solutions. This includes implementing a secure product life cycle which incorporates customer, regulatory and industry requirements and best practices for cyber security.
Mike is an appointed member of the FCC’s Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council (CSRIC), and a GSMA Fraud and Security Group (FASG) member.
Prior to Mavenir, Mike led Product Security and Quality for Mitel Mobile, held program leadership positions at Alcatel-Lucent, and served as program leader for Global Test Environments at Nortel/Bell Northern Research. He began his career as a software engineer with Commodore Computer and Recognition Equipment (BancTec).
Mike has degrees in Engineering/Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Virginia and the University of North Texas.
