C@CM Hiring TAs for Fall 2019

Computing@Carnegie Mellon is currently taking applications for Teaching Assistants. 

As an undergraduate teaching assistant, you'll assist in delivering the 99101 C@CM course under the direction of the program director and administrative staff.  You will be solely responsible for conducting weekly recitation sessions where you'll identify critical information from the online course materials and elaborate on it to help students better understand the material.  This includes preparing lectures, facilitating discussions and other instructional techniques.  You will monitor your students' participation and performance on a nearly daily basis, hold office hours and provide targeted feedback and support via email and in-person accordingly.  C@CM Teaching Assistants have a strict responsibility for maintaining up-to-date and accurate grading and attendance records, and for archiving all communication exchanged with students.
