Bio

Ahsan Rasool is a fourth-year student majoring in Information Systems and minoring in Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. Born and raised in Pakistan, Ahsan has volunteered in many organizations across the nation that have increased his love of teaching and being surrounded by people. One such organization is The Citizen’s Foundation, wherein Ahsan taught underprivileged students in remote places of Pakistan. Ahsan believes that information systems is relevant in decision making and technical control in organizations.

At CMU-Q, Ahsan has learned the importance of Information systems in helping organizations achieve their goals, improve cost efficiency, flow of material/knowledge and operational/strategic management in an organization and more. He aims to apply the knowledge to developing economies like Pakistan, in order to spread awareness of the importance of these technological advancements among the next young. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, spending time with his friends, and learning technical development for his personal endeavors.
