Follow these steps to ensure your mobile number
and CMU-Alert preferences are current

Access SIO

Log into the Student Information Online (SIO) portal using your Andrew ID and password.

Navigate to My Info

Click on the My Info tab at the top of the page to view your profile details.

Review and Edit

Review your listed Mobile Phone number. If the information is incorrect or missing, click Edit My Info.

Format Your Phone Number

 US Numbers

 Enter the 10-digit number

 123-456-7890

  International Numbers

 Prefix with + Country Code

 + [Code] - [Number]

Select Provider

Choose your mobile provider from the dropdown menu. If your provider is not listed, select Other.

Update CMU-Alert Preferences

Ensure you are notified during emergencies by checking the following boxes:

  • Receive text messages
  • Receive voice messages

Submit Changes

Review all information for accuracy, then click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to save your updates.
