Classroom Tutoring

Tutoring in-person provides important contact with Schenley students and teachers and is the foundation of the program. Twice a week we take vans from CMU's main campus to Schenley High School to work with students during their activities period. We generally leave at 2 pm from the Morewood Parking Lot and return to CMU at 3:30 pm.

Drop-in tutoring in introductory Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses provides additional support for teachers and allows students to ask questions one-on-one in an informal environment.

The Leonard Gelfand Center for Service Learning and Outreach generously provides van service to Schenley High School and handles clearances for the tutors. More information about the Gelfand Center may be found at:
