Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Strategic Funding Priorities

In a campus-wide email on February 17, President Suresh announced the creation of a committee to consider possibilities for allocating $250 million in proceeds from a patent infringement lawsuit settlement.

The Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Strategic Funding Priorities has been charged with the task of providing advice to the President on how best to allocate these funds.

For a six-week period beginning March 2, the Committee is inviting recommendations, proposals and suggestions from the university community on how these funds can contribute to a better future for prospective and current students at Carnegie Mellon.

Community feedback can be sent via the dedicated email address SFPcommittee-feedback@andrew.cmu.edu. Please send thoughtful guidance on the allocation of these funds by Friday, April 15.
