Science Non-Fiction blogging club

Meets every other week (alternating with CPR) to workshop drafts of pieces for our blog, ScienceNonFiction.org.

Communication Practice for Researchers (CPR)

Meets every other week (alternating with blogging club). In this group, we’ll use various exercises to practice real-time communication with each other and discuss strategies and pitfalls.

Nerd Nite

An end-of-semester opportunity to interact with a live audience, modeled on NerdNite.com events. At a bar or similar venue, interested students will have the opportunity to give a brief description of their research, then engage in further discussion over food and drinks.
