Roger Turner
Assistant Director, Global Strategic Initiatives and Institutional Accreditation

Roger joined CMU in 2023, bringing a commitment to fostering welcoming environments and a meticulous approach to regulatory compliance. Previously, he served as the ESL Career Training Specialist at Hagerstown Community College. There, in coordination with the Maryland Department of Labor, he developed Western Maryland’s first healthcare career training program for English language learners. This initiative, which supports students from across the globe, now serves as a statewide model for job placement programs.

Roger’s multifaceted background includes education compliance, student services, data management, and hospitality. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Outside of his professional work, Roger is an avid cyclist who enjoys studying history and philosophy.
