Cashnet eMarket provides secure credit card transaction processing on a PCI-compliant platform. Cashnet allows campus users to create, manage, and operate storefronts with their own URLs to provide an end-user shopping experience with photos, descriptions, and credit card payment checkout options. Transaction information is stored in the central Cashnet database and is exported to the General Ledger module of the Oracle Financials System.

A Cashnet eMarket can be implemented through:
Storefront within Cashnet
Create an entire website within Cashnet. Your online payers will view and select items for sale on the Cashnet website, provide requested information, including payment information, and Cashnet will process the payment. An eMarket within Cashnet can be created as a general retail storefront or a donation storefront. A donation storefronts differs from general retail as it allows you to give the payer the option make a recurring donation and have default text and labels that are appropriate for a giving site. A donation storefront requires the management of user accounts and logins.
Checkout Page on Existing Website
If your department or group already has a website, your eMarket can be used as a checkout. Your online payers will view and select items for sale on your website and then be passed to Cashnet to provide payment information. This process is seamless to the payer, but does change the URL in the address bar. Transaction information is passed to Cashnet behind the scenes, which you can then report on.
