CMU Energy Week Research Summit

The CMU Energy Week Research Summit during Thursday programming will spend the afternoon highlighting energy research happening at CMU directly from our faculty affiliates.

On the main stage, Power Talks are 10-minute high-level presentations meant to tell a thought-provoking story about a particular area of research. These presentations will leave no time for equations or jargon – each talk will leave the audience feeling hyper-aware of the importance of energy and sustainability issues and the novel approaches being taken to address them.

Across the hall from the main stage is the CMU Research Exhibition highlighting our most exciting energy research and innovations in a more intimate format. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with CMU researchers and view their findings and/or innovative technologies.

Whether you catch a few Power Talks or visit a few tables at the research exhibition (we encourage you to see both!), visitors will walk away having a greater understanding of the energy research from our faculty and we aim to showcase why CMU is a powerhouse when it comes to cutting-edge energy research and innovation.
