Lauren Harper

Director of Sustainable Cities, Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator

Lauren Harper has professional experience in the environmental, sustainability, and energy fields. At LACI, Lauren oversees the management of state and federal grants bringing together diverse stakeholders, and is leading the development of LACI’s circular economy initiatives–focused on textiles–to advance sustainable city innovation in Southern California.

Before joining LACI, Lauren worked in administrative affairs and operational management at Columbia University and championed a collaborative grant program – overseeing the project management awarded projects – at Houston Wilderness. Lauren holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a BS from the University of Houston. Lauren enjoys birding, hiking, and mending/refashioning clothing in her free time.
