Executive Director, Mobilify Southwestern Pennsylvania (MSPPM 2008)

Chris brings over a decade of leadership on mobility’s intersection with equitable community and economic development to his founding of Mobilify Southwestern PA. Mobilify works towards securing greater multimodal transportation choices, equitable transportation access, and economic opportunity throughout the Pittsburgh region. In his 14 years, Chris has championed successful initiatives such as PA’s transportation funding law known as Act 89, helping low-income communities access state and federal funds for restorative transportation justice projects, and co-authoring the transportation chapter of Pittsburgh’s Climate Action Plan.

Chris holds a BS in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Penn State and an MS in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon. He sits on the Steering Committee of MPact Mobility. He is also on the Board of Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities and Pennsylvania’s Climate Change Advisory Committee. Chris is a self-proclaimed infrastructurist and gets around primarily via transit, bike, or foot.
