Interested in Being a Research Assistant?

Working in a lab can help you gain important research, quantitative, analytical, and interpersonal skills, all of which are essential if you plan to pursue a PhD in Psychology.

Carnegie Mellon University students can earn course credit for working in our lab. To join, you must:

- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 to be considered
- Be able to work nine hours per week, which includes lab work and attendance at a weekly lab meeting
- Commit to working at least two semesters in the lab

Our lab is not currently accepting more applicants for the spring 2024 semester. Check back later to see if we have openings for summer or fall!
