Create a Callout Box

The third column of a 3-column page contains an area for callout boxes (see examples). Multiple callout boxes can be added to a page. Follow these steps to create a new page with callout boxes:

  1. Select the folder where the new page should reside (parent).
  2. Select New > 3 column.
  3. Enter a System Name, Title, Header Photo (optional) and main content.
  4. Enter the callout box details:

    • Callout Box Options - Select small or large text for the content and the placement of the label, top is preferred.
    • Callout box label (optional) - Label to appear at the top or bottom of the callout box.
    • Background Color - Choose a background color the drop-down. See background colors for samples.
    • Content - You may add text, links, images, tables, and media. Callout boxes image and video widths: - 180 pixels max, with a background color - 219 pixels max with no background color
    • Working with Multiple Callout Boxes
      Add (green plus sign) - Adds another callout box.
      Delete (red minus sign) - Deletes the callout box.
      Up/Down (blue arrows) - Rearranges the order of the callout boxes. Placement (1/2) - Signifies the current callout box is displayed as the first of two.

  5. Click Submit.

  • links
  • images
  • announcements
  • quotes
  • reminders
  • and more!

Callout boxes are created on a page-by-page basis.

Callout boxes come in several different background colors.

If you prefer to have white space for your callout box area (such as in this example), simply select "none" for the background color.  This is ideal if you would like to embed a Twitter widget, or use an image that needs to be displayed on a white background:
