Water Line Break Disrupts Service to Wean, Scaife and Hamerschlag Halls

An 8" water line break on the Hamerschlag Mall on campus has left Wean, Scaife and Hamerschlag halls without water service. Crews are on the scene to repair the break, however service is not expected to be restored until midnight tonight (Aug. 7).

During this time there will be no water to restrooms, labs, drinking fountains and other equipment connected to water. Chilled water for building air conditioning units is being supplied through the Physical Plant chillers so cooling should not be affected.
