Red Whittaker to Appear on GMA, MSNBC and CNN Saturday
Carnegie Mellon Red Team leaders William "Red" Whittaker and Kevin Peterson will make several television appearances Saturday, March 25, in New York in connection with the upcoming NOVA special on last year's DARPA Grand Challenge. The program, entitled "The Great Robot Race," airs at 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 on PBS.
Whittaker, Peterson and the robotic racer Sandstorm are scheduled to appear on Good Morning America during the 7:30 a.m. segment. Whittaker will appear on MSNBC at around 9:40 a.m. and on CNN between noon and 1 p.m.
