Power Outage on Campus

At approximately 4 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 2, a Duquesne Light power outage left the majority of main campus without electrical power.

All non-essential university personnel have been instructed to go home for the evening.

Duquesne Light has informed the university that power should be restored in a few hours.

Please monitor the main university telephone number 412-268-2000 and this Web site for more information and updates.

Individuals with critical operations that may be affected should call Campus Police at 412-268-2323. If you are unable to contact Campus Police call Madelyn Miller at 412-527-5614.
