Campus Services - Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley - Carnegie Mellon University

Campus Services

Welcome to the Campus Services section of Student Life at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley.  In this section, you can explore various services that are offered both at the Silicon Valley and Pittsburgh campuses to ensure your academic and professional success.

International Student Services

To support our international student population, Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley works in close partnership with the Office of International Education (OIE) located at the main campus.  Our foreign student and scholar advisor at OIE is Nesli Ozdoganlar, neslio@andrew.cmu.edu, 412.268.5231

For full-time students, you will be working closely with the Office of International Education as you prepare for your studies at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley.  Note that participation in New Student Orientation is mandatory, as you will need to officially check in with OIE at the Orientation program.  If you have any questions, contact Nesli Ozdoganlar.

Enrollment and Course Registration

Each newly admitted student will be assigned an Andrew User ID and Student ID number.  This information will be given to you by Student Affairs once you have confirmed your enrollment with CMU Silicon Valley and have paid your enrollment deposit.

With this information, you will be able to access a number of important student on-line resources via Enrollment Services - The HUB.

For new incoming students, you will be automatically registered for your Fall semester courses (your first semester).  However, starting your 2nd semester, you will be required to register for classes via your Online Student Registration page.

Important websites are:

  • The HUB - The main website for financial aid and enrollment services.
  • Student Information Online - To view your student account, change your address, check your grades, and other important information.
  • On-Line Registration - To register for classes starting your 2nd semester.

For your first semester, Student Affairs will register you for your appropriate courses.

For continuing students, you will be responsible for registering yourself via the SIO website for your courses.  Further information regarding this process will be provided at the end of each semester via emai, Twiki page, and Student Newsletter.
