96-796 Human-Computer Interaction

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a course which provides a learn-by-doing experience during which students undertake a user-centered design process to understand and operationalize the requirements for an interaction design, formulate design alternatives, develop a low-fidelity prototype, evaluate the prototype via usability testing, conduct a heuristic evaluation, and finally present their findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for improving the interaction design process.
