QoLT Systems: QoLTbots

The goal of the QoLTbots project is manipulation and mobility assitance that supports independent living. QoLTbots is focused on two core robotic systems: Home Exploring Robot Butler (HERB) and the Personal Mobility and Manipulation Appliance (PerMMA).
In terms of manipulation assistance, key research challenges are building safe, easy to operate systems that can reliably perform common tasks in both home and community environments that have the uncertainty of environments built for people.
