Ziyi Bill Zhang

Bio

Ziyi (Bill) Zhang graduates from University of Hong Kong with Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and minor in computer science. During his undergraduate study, he had a rigorous training in statistics and quantitative finance and completed a student research project on time series with non-Gaussian error structure. Before joining MSCF, he has worked as an actuarial analyst in an insurance company in Hong Kong on economic capital. He has worked on building risk measurements for new product types in Hong Kong and initiating hedging programs for interest rate risk. Bill joins the MSCF program to further sharpen his communication and quantitative skills and plans to pursue a career in quantitative research upon graduation.
