Bio

Zhijun Cao graduated from University of Virginia in 2023 with Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a minor in Economics. Prior to joining the MSCF program, he joined top fund and tech firms as an intern to explore the interactions between investment and technologies. As a Venture Capital Analyst Intern at Shenzhen Angel Fund of Funds, Zhijun conducted in-depth market analyses and was instrumental in making investments totaling $6 million across three tech startups. Also, he participated actively in UVA Sailing Club and held wide range of interests in sailing, tennis and soccer. Through these experiences, he strengthened his leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Zhijun joined the MSCF Program to sharpen his quantitative skills and expand his knowledge in global markets. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in quantitative research, portfolio management or quantitative trading
