Yuan Liu is a graduate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, completing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Engineering in 2023. Yuan's academic journey equipped her with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, finance, and programming. During her studies, she distinguished herself as an undergraduate university teaching fellow for the Mathematical Modeling course, deepening her understanding of optimization and modeling. Yuan's practical experience includes an internship at QuantRoad Asset Management, where she contributed to factor construction, factor combination, and data processing. Her work enriched the company's factor database. Later, as a quantitative research intern at Shanghai Leaderway Investment Management, Yuan played a pivotal role in portfolio optimization and event study analysis, driving a 1%-2% increase in portfolio returns. Yuan's pursuit of advanced knowledge led her to join the MSCF program, aiming to further hone her technical skills and market insights. With a passion for quantitative finance, Yuan Liu looks forward to applying her expertise in a quantitative research or trading role after graduation.
