Bio

Yirun "Aaron" Wang graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both Mathematics and Statistics. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he developed strong interest in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis and conducted various types of quantitative research. In particular, he spent time researching various kinds of option pricing methods and leveraging machine learning techniques to acquire decision-making mechanism for banks to predict credit card default outcome. Aaron joined the MSCF program to further enhance his understanding of quantitative methods heavily used in financial markets. Upon graduation, he hopes to work as a quantitative researcher or quantitative trader.
