Bio

Sabrina Mei is a keen strategist with an ability to reflect, adapt, and pivot her strategies with precision and agility. As an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, Sabrina earned her BS in Statistics and Machine Learning. Armed with robust technical expertise in Python, R, SQL and C/C++, she has applied her knowledge of Data Science to make contributions in multiple sectors. At Avanade (Accenture), she transformed algorithm-driven insights into profits and business opportunities. Her data-driven strategies contributed to optimizing transit efficiency in underserved neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. She further honed her market research skills at a private equity company. Beyond her technical achievements, what sets Sabrina apart is her unwavering commitment to inclusivity in the finance sector. She is passionately working towards enhancing the representation of minorities and women in the industry. Outside the professional realm, Sabrina is a poet, band member, cricketer and an avid hiker. Sabrina joined the MSCF program to enhance her ability to master complex datasets and interpret them in ways that provide significant value.
