Bio

Xinyan (Heed) Liu graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics. During his undergrad study, Heed actively engaged in a variety of research and internships within the realm of quantitative finance and machine learning. This journey took him across continents, from credit research institution in Singapore to consulting startup in the Netherlands, where he interacted with clients across Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The diverse exposure honed his quantitative skills, cultivated a global mindset, and fostered adeptness in cross-cultural teamwork and communication. Now part of the MSCF program, he aspires to further refine his technical prowess and pursue a career in quantitative research.
