Bio

Suyash pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering out of his interest in mathematics and programming. During the course, he interned at India’s premier research institute, the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research where his team developed a machine-learning framework for detecting fast radio bursts. Working with extensive data sets in Astrophysics combined with his pursuit of the CFA certification solidified his conviction for transitioning to quantitative finance. Upon his graduation, Suyash worked at Orange Quant Research a prop shop where he devised high-frequency strategies for trading equity derivatives, alongside a full responsibility for management of all data pipelines. His motivation to join the MSCF program was to develop a deeper understanding of the math and statistics underlying financial models and market microstructure. Upon completion of the program, he hopes to leverage his hands-on skills in data science and knowledge of markets to solve problems in quantitative trading and portfolio management.
