Bio

Somesh Bajpai graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur(IIT K) in 2021 in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Industrial and Management Engineering. His academic peregrinations as an Electrical Engineer and stint as a Controllers Modeling/ Strats Analyst with Goldman Sachs have inculcated a deep appreciation for the role of quantitative problem-solving in Financial Markets. He also interned at Edelweiss in Low-Frequency Trading, working on range-based estimators to improve trading strategies in 2020. His interest in the MSCF program stems from the rigour and depth of the curriculum, which complements his knowledge of statistics and modelling and his passion for financial markets. Upon graduation, he intends to pursue a career in Quantitative trading.
