Shitian (Steve) Lin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a minor in Economics of Quantitative Modeling. As an AI & Data Science Summer Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co, Steve honed his skills in big data analysis, credit risk modeling, and feature engineering, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the firm's risk analysis models and strategies. Steve's experience also extends to his time as an Intelligent Automation Analyst at Cigna, where he was instrumental in identifying and analyzing business processes for automation opportunities. His research involvement with Health Research Inc. provided him with significant experience in data pipeline transformations and processing. Now, as a Computational Finance (MSCF) candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, Steve is enthusiastic about deepening his understanding of computational finance and refining his quantitative skills. With a keen eye for innovation and a strong technical expertise, Steve aspires to advance his career in the field of quantitative research.
