Bio

Ruining (Leo) Feng graduated from the University of Oxford in 2023 with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in mathematics and statistics. During his study, Leo has established a solid foundation in theories of stochastic calculus, statistical modelling, and machine learning. His academic pursuits included several research projects in statistics, leveraging techniques like linear regression and high-dimensional statistical inference to address real-world challenges. Prior to joining the MSCF program, he worked as a quantitative investment intern at E Fund Management. There, he harnessed Python web-scraping tools to acquire financial data and demonstrated his prowess in processing complex datasets. Leo joined the MSCF program to strengthen his financial computing skills and develop market insights. After graduation, he aspires to pursue a career in quantitative research or quantitative trading.
