Bio

Jialin (Carrie) Pan graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2023, with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering. Carrie has a solid foundation in mathematics and finance, with hands-on experience using quantitative methods to model financial data. During her internship at a Fintech firm, AQUMON, she improved a GDP prediction model with machine learning methods and implemented asset allocation strategies using risk parity and optimization. She is a proven team player, a talented communicator, and a leader, having played in her college basketball team and co-founded the college’s sports association. Carrie joined the MSCF program to strengthen her quantitative skills and further develop market insights. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career in quantitative research or asset management.
