Bio

Aditya Mantri graduated from Duke University in 2020 with a degree in Economics. Most recently, he did Strategy and Analytics at a startup in the childcare industry. He loved creative, freewheeling startup culture but realized that he wanted to be in an industry where quantitative problem solving was the product, not only supporting the product. This led him to discover the realm of mathematical finance and ultimately join the MSCF program. After he graduates, he wants to be a quantitative researcher or trader on a team of entrepreneurial people.

Aditya has lived in a variety places in his life, including the Midwest, the South, India, and China, which he thinks gives him a unique perspective on the world. In his free time, he enjoys sports (bouldering, basketball, and anything with a racket), books (he is currently reading “The Ministry for the Future’), and playing social deduction games.
